Demonstrates pedagogic innovations through technology and human-centred interactions
Innovative ideas and transformative learning experiences centred around the evolution of work were the focus of Ivey’s Wood Centre Global Symposium, held in May 2024 at the Donald K. Johnson Centre in Toronto.
The symposium was hosted by Zoe Kinias, an associate professor of Organizational Behaviour and Sustainability, and the inaugural John F. Wood Chair Innovation in Business Education.
Kinias emphasized the event's vision of bringing people together that might not otherwise connect in a space that promotes the integration and balancing of technology with humanity and inclusion. She explained the symposium was designed to encourage exploring, testing, and sharing insights from research and practice in both educational and professional contexts.
The energy, deep thinking and diversity of perspectives that were in the room were very powerful and I am very happy with what we created - Symposium host, Zoe Kinias, John F. Wood Chair for Innovation in Business Education.
