Tom has always been interested in environmental sustainability in the energy industry. After graduating from an Ivey/Engineering dual degree in 2013, he spent 4 years working as a remediation project manager for Imperial Oil. In this role, Tom qualified for his professional engineering designation, led a consultation effort for the largest remediation project on First Nations reserve in Canadian history and completed a Masters in Environmental Engineering through night classes. Following Imperial, Tom returned to Ivey to complete an MBA. Since fall 2018 he has worked for BCG out of the Calgary office, focusing on digital cases in natural resources industries.
