Gabrielle is a nature lover, runner, climber, Girl Guide volunteer, and former Health Sciences student before beginning at Ivey. She believes business can be a powerful tool to create positive social and environmental change. Her past experiences share a theme of releasing the potential within others. These include developing and facilitating entrepreneurship programming for a kids’ summer camp, and leading mental health workshops in the Canadian Arctic with her nonprofit organization, North in Focus. She dreams of working at a company like Mountain Equipment Co-op, where she can participate in and promote outdoor culture while advancing sustainable operations.
