Hack Western 5 took place on November 23-25, 2018 and the Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab was excited to sponsor the event for a third consecutive year!
Over 3,000 applications from across North America were received and over 600 hackers selected to participate in the 36-hour hackathon, one of the largest hackathons in Canada. Teams consisting of up to four participants competed to build web, mobile, and hardware projects. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn from workshops held by event sponsors and to network with industry leaders.
