Fatemeh is a Management Science student at the Ivey Business school with a passion for healthcare and health economics issues. She received her Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology and holds a Master's degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University. She is currently focusing on the development of a game-theoretic model to predict the outcomes of allowing dual practice for physicians in Canada. This policy proposal, which enables physicians to engage in the public and private healthcare systems simultaneously, entails both potential merits and demerits. Her research is focused on identifying the potential benefits and drawbacks of this policy and assessing its implications on patients, physicians, and society as a whole. She hopes that her research can contribute to the development of more effective and equitable healthcare policies.
