Ivey alumnus Donald Triggs, MBA '68, and co-founder of Jackson-Triggs, received an honorary Doctor of Laws, honoris causa (LLD) at the Western University Convocation held on June 12. Triggs addressed the graduating class, telling them that opportunities often come disguised as difficulties.
“Even though life may deal you surprises, and every now and then, the odd, nasty curve ball, what looks like a nasty curve ball might be the best pitch you’ve ever seen," he said. "You have to get in the batter’s box; you have to play it out."
