The Ivey Business School is thrilled to learn that Bloomberg Businessweek named Ivey’s MBA as the top ranked program in Canada. This is the ninth time the publication has ranked the School’s MBA program as top in the country since 2014.
In this year’s ranking Ivey placed number one in Canada in both the compensation and networking categories. According to Bloomberg Businessweek, their ranking relies on graduating students, recent alumni, and companies that recruit MBAs to measure and comment on the programs. To create the ranking each Canadian school is assessed across four weighted dimensions which include compensation, learning, networking and entrepreneurship.
“I’m delighted that we are once again ranked the top business school in Canada for MBA by Bloomberg,” said Julian Birkinshaw, Dean, Ivey Business School. “The ranking is a reflection of our world-class learning environment which prepares our future graduates to achieve both their personal and career goals.”
Bloomberg Businessweek included representative comments from students and alumni on what's best about Ivey’s MBA program. Here are some examples which demonstrate the transformational impact of the Ivey experience:
“The cohort is incredibly diverse, and being able to learn from my peers and the faculty is an incredible experience that I would recommend to others.”
“The tight programming — the school knows that it’s a one-year program, and every day counts. “Trust the process” was a constant reminder statement to us throughout the program, and at least 90% of all events / training were inspirational if not directly beneficial to our next steps.”
