Scholarship spotlight: Award inspired engineering graduate to pursue an MBA

Oct 2, 2024

With a background in architecture and engineering, Ivey MBA student Sarvie Golestaneh says she was initially a bit nervous about navigating a business education, but a donor’s belief in her paved the way.

Golestaneh, an MBA ’25 candidate, received the Ross N. Clouston MBA Award, which was created by Bob Clouston, MBA '72, and Brendan Clouston, MBA ’79, to honour their father. The award aims to develop young talent across multiple disciplines and alternates annually between Canadian and international students.

In the video above, Golestaneh discusses how the award has supported her on her Ivey journey and what’s next.

“The scholarship has inspired me to put my best foot forward. Knowing that both the School and the donor believe in me has solidified that belief in myself,” she said.
