The 58 outstanding leaders who make up Ivey’s newest Executive MBA (EMBA) cohort recently came together to begin their transformative journey of discovery and fun.
The group’s residence week at Ivey’s Spencer Leadership Centre kicked off on February 5 with an introduction to the diverse new network of professionals and how the program will accelerate their learning and development.
“I’m delighted to welcome our newest group of participants to our Executive MBA program and to watch their amazing journey unfold in coming months,” said Mary Gillett, HBA ’82, MBA ’02, Faculty Director of the EMBA. “I’m especially pleased that we have a record number of women in the class thanks to ongoing initiatives to increase the number of women in the program. Having diversity in the cohort only enhances the learning. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of these talented individuals over the next 17 months.”
In addition to learning in the classroom, the participants will be able to draw from the vast collective knowledge and experience of their classmates, which spans 25 industries.
