The Ivey community is preparing to celebrate the success of the 239 graduates who are anticipated to take part in Western University’s fall convocation ceremony tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Graduates from Ivey’s HBA, MSc, Master of Management in Analytics (MM-A), Executive MBA (EMBA), and PhD programs will participate in the event at Western’s Alumni Hall where they’ll receive their diplomas and join the Ivey Alumni Network. The breakup includes: 106 HBAs, 51 EMBAs, 41 MM-As, 35 MScs, and six PhDs.
Recognizing Paul Sabourin, MBA ’80
Ivey will also be recognizing Paul Sabourin, MBA ’80, who will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws from Western University at the event. Sabourin is co-founder, chair, and chief investment officer of Polar Asset Management. He has also served as an Ivey Advisory Board member and is a former chair and current member of the Morrisette Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at Western. The Ivey Pledge tradition
After the ceremony, the graduates will return to the Richard Ivey Building for the Ivey Pledge Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. where they’ll receive the Ivey Ring.
