This past summer, HBA2 students were hard at work building professional relationships and developing fundamental skills for their careers.
Employed by companies across North America, and around the world, many students held positions in consulting, accounting, and finance – while others explored a variety of industries.
HBA2 students began their second year of classes this week with a Welcome Back event on September 3. The event started with a welcome speech by Dean Sharon Hodgson, who gave them words of encouragement as they enter their final year. Emily Royer, HBA '11, MBA '20, reflected on her final year in the HBA Program, and offered students advice as they prepare for recruitment.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony and an overview from Ivey’s Career Management team on what the upcoming recruiting season might bring.
Here are a few stats about this year's HBA2 students:
484 – HBA2 students
285 – combined-degree students
250 – the number of companies they worked at this summer
