Representatives and allies from the Ivey Pride Club and the MBA class will be taking part in the 25th Annual London Pride Parade on July 28. It's part of the 11-day London Pride Festival which kicked off today.
Andrew Newton, MBA ’20 candidate and the MBA President of the Ivey Pride Club, is looking forward to walking with his fellow classmates.
"MBA students participating in the London Pride Parade shows how much of a community we've built here. Since day one, we've all been close and we've been each other's support group," says Newton. "When it comes to initiatives like this, students actively want to be there and participate. It's pretty significant we have that community in the class, and we all support each other."
