Becoming an entrepreneur is the road less travelled for good reason. It’s often an uncharted territory full of potential pitfalls.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
The Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship is taking the learnings from Ivey’s entrepreneurial alumni and sharing them with the world via The Ivey Entrepreneur Podcast.
The regular series features Ivey faculty members hosting successful Ivey alumni entrepreneurs who share their experiences and advice.
Lecturer Eric Janssen, HBA ’09, MBA ’20, a former entrepreneur and one of the hosts of the podcast, said it’s a great way to capture lessons from the broad pool of highly successful Ivey alumni entrepreneurs.
“What we want to do is reveal how these entrepreneurs are learning from their setbacks, what they’ve discovered, how they’re figuring out how to break through to the next level of growth, and really all of the key lessons learned throughout their journey,” he said. “There are a lot of people who have been down this path before or a similar path.”
The podcast is sponsored by Connie Clerici, QS ’08, and Closing the Gap Healthcare Group, Inc.
