Shantal Feltham, President and CEO of Stiris Research and a graduate of Western University and Ivey’s QuantumShift™ Program, is the recipient of the 2019 Women of Excellence Award in Entrepreneurship.
Feltham received the honour, presented every two years, at the YMCA Women of Excellence Gala on May 15 at the London Convention Centre. The award, sponsored by Ivey and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, was presented to Feltham via video by Professor Eric Morse, who recognized her as the quintessential entrepreneur.
“What makes Shantal a truly remarkable leader is her ability to engage the world with an open, curious mind – and to always lead from the heart,” said Morse, Executive Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship and Special Advisor to the President and Director of Entrepreneurship at Western University. “She has built Stiris Research with genuine purpose, and she has maintained that purpose while scaling to a team of 150 conducting clinical trials around the world.”
Stiris Research is an entrepreneurial clinical trial management company specializing in conducting complex Phase I through IIIB trials for North American biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies.
