Can anything slow the growth of Amazon? Ivey finance professor George Athanassakos explains that lawmakers in the United States could make things more difficult for the e-commerce giant.
In an op-ed for The Globe and Mail, Athanassakos notes there is a history of government intervention when a corporation commands such overwhelming market influence.
"There is precedence for government to get involved when a company has become a dominant player in the market and uses its position to stifle competition," says Athanassakos.
