Statistics Canada revealed a major revision on Wednesday: Canada's labour market added about 64,4000 fewer jobs last year than first reported. This new data shows that Canada only added 121,300 new jobs last year — its worst performance since 2009.
“It certainly seems the U.S. has caught up to us and in some respects may have passed us when it comes to the performance of their economy," Ivey professor Mike Moffatt says.
