Seamus Blackmore is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience developing products in the professional services industry. Since May 2021, he has been a Product Lead Partner at GTA Lighthouse at KPMG in Canada, where he leads a team focused on applying emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges. Seamus is a member of the firm’s Digital Executive Team and AI Steering Committee; a former member of Microsoft’s AI Partners board; and an active volunteer within the Newfoundland community. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Leila Pishdad
Machine Learning Research Team Lead, Borealis AI
Leila Pishdad is an accomplished machine learning researcher, with extensive experience leading research teams and developing advanced algorithms, in both academic and industrial settings. Since September 2021, she has led the Machine Learning Research Team at Borealis AI, following key roles at Samsung Research, RBC, and Elekta LTD. With over a decade of experience, Leila’s expertise spans real-time tracking algorithms for medical imaging, probabilistic reasoning in radiation therapy, and advanced machine learning applications. She holds a PhD from McGill University and an MSc from Sharif University of Technology, with a focus on electrical engineering and computer science.

Fredrik Odegaard
Associate Professor, Management Science, Ivey Business School
Fredrik Odegaard is an Associate Professor of Management Science at Ivey Business School,with a cross-appointment in the Department of Applied Mathematics at Western University. A dedicated educator, he has taught extensively and developed courses across multiple programs at Ivey. His widely published research focuses on Revenue Management and Health Care Operations. Fredrik serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management and is a past President of the Canadian Operational Research Society. He holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia, dual master’s degrees from Stanford University, and a BSc from Arizona State University.
