Why did you decide to do an MBA?

My decision to pursue an MBA was driven by a few things: my desire to broaden my understanding of business fundamentals, the opportunity to further develop my leadership skills and the chance to expand my network. Ivey attracts an incredibly diverse group of students and I've already made great friends and learned so much from my peers.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

What's surprised me the most of the Ivey MBA journey so far is how much fun you can have during some of the most intense moments. Coming into the program, I knew Core would be fast paced and intense but it's so much more. There's an indescribably buzz to working through 24hs reports, studying for midterms and navigating recruiting with the cohort. I won't lie and say there haven't been tough moments, but overall it's been an incredibly fun time and I'm looking forward to the next 9 months!
