Why did you decide to do an MBA?

I always believed I would eventually pursue an MBA, it was just a matter of when and where. I enjoyed the consulting side of my engineering role as a project manager and team lead. I am looking to pivot out of technical engineering into a more strategy-focused role. I chose Ivey for its case-based learning approach, tight-knit community, and the school's focus on consulting.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

The most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date has been debunking the myth that MBA programs are fiercely competitive. Instead, everyone is open and willing to help one another, creating an awesome environment for learning. Also, being in such a tight-knit community in London, everyone has gotten so close so quickly.
