Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I have been trained and worked as a data scientist for years, focusing on analytics products, data operations, and business strategies. To advance my career, I need to gain business acumen and enhance my soft skills. Additionally, having been born in China, studied and worked in the US, and now living in Canada, transitioning to a new location with senior-level skills can be challenging. An MBA will help me build a strong professional network in Canada and provide the necessary business insights to further my career.
Ivey in a few words:
Definitely a lot heavier workload for someone from non-business/non-finance background. But we got the most value of tuition.
