Why did you decide to do an MBA?

After 6 years in engineering consulting, I found that I wanted to deploy the problem solving skills I learned to projects with greater scope. Combining this problem solving ability with a knowledge of business would give me the tools to work in a wide variety of fields and open doors that I would not have otherwise had available.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

How natural the learning seems to happen in the case environment. One week you are learning a totally new concept, the next you are struggling to incorporate it, the next it comes naturally to you. The time goes by quickly, but when you look back it is amazing to see how much progress you have made in that short time.
