Why did you decide to do an MBA?

In my previous role as a MarTech Consultant, I was limited to implementing marketing solutions like Salesforce and Braze. However, my long-term goal is to advance to an executive position in marketing.I realized that to achieve this, I need a deep global understanding of marketing, strategy development, and leadership skills. I also wanted to hone my critical thinking, decision-making, and presentation skills. The one-year MBA program at Ivey seemed perfect for my experience and goals to accelerate my growth in the North American market.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

The most significant thing I've learned at Ivey is to think on my feet. The extensive curriculum, case-based learning, and 24-hour reports provide countless opportunities for hands-on experience and developing managerial skills. This approach has sharpened my ability to quickly analyze situations, make informed decisions, and effectively lead teams. Additionally, the diverse faculty, students, and alumni network offer an immersive cultural experience, enriching my understanding and perspective on global business.
