Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I saw an MBA as a means to bridge the gap between my current professional profile and my future career goals. I wanted to gain a broad understanding of every function of a business and understand the kinds of challenges they run into while honing the ability to come up with strategic solutions to these problems. Additionally, I hoped to build a tight network of peers and leverage the university’s unique environment to reflect, introspect, be challenged and grow as an individual.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The Ivey MBA is an intensive one-year program and can get quite overwhelming with the number of things to do. To stay on track and meet all deadlines, I learned how to prioritize and better manage my time.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
My expectations of the Ivey MBA journey were primarily professional growth along with some personal development. However, the most surprising aspect of my journey so far has been the incredible personal growth and development I have seen in myself so far. My personal growth has been almost as significant as my professional growth.
