Why did you decide to do an MBA?

I decided to pursue an MBA for three reasons: to learn the business side of things, pivot into developing consumer-facing products within the tech space and acquire the necessary skills to become an effective leader.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

I have learned that you can truly become a better version of yourself when you are surrounded by a supportive and empathetic community.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

Reading and dissecting business cases can be fun when you are in a classroom full of diverse and curious minds.

Describe the role you play professionally:

Prior to Ivey, I led people and managed projects in operations and manufacturing within the automotive, oil and gas, and HVAC industries for the past four years. I have a background in Mechanical engineering, and I love delivering remarkable results in fast-paced environments where there is abundance of challenges.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

Leading teams to deliver on agreed results and addressing project risks.

What books are on your bedside table AND/OR what podcast are you listing to right now?

I love listening to These podcasts: Business Wars by Wondery and Moonshots by Mike Parsons and Mark Freeland.

How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc.)?

Working out at the gym, going for short walks, and spending time with my family.
