Why did you decide to do an MBA?
My decision to pursue an MBA was motivated by the networking opportunities, the potential for skill development, the prospects for career advancement, and the engaging case-based study method. By immersing myself in an MBA program, I aimed to broaden my professional horizons, deepen my knowledge base, and position myself for long-term success in the dynamic world of business.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The case-based study method employed in many MBA programs was particularly enticing. I recognized the value of learning through real-world scenarios and analyzing business cases that mirrored the challenges professionals face in their day-to-day operations. This method would not only enhance my analytical and decision-making skills but also foster a practical understanding of how theoretical concepts can be applied in practical business situations.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The learning curve is very steep and it us a great experience learning from your peers and working in teams of like minded smart people.
Describe the role you play professionally:
I lead multiple buy and sell side deals in TMT sector for mergers and acquisition.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The deals are of different nature and require constant knowledge of the market.
What is your biggest professional accomplishment?
I was awarded as the best new employee at KPMG.
