Why did you decide to do an MBA?
Although my technology-focused education and background allowed me a problem-solving skillset that I could apply to any business scenario I worked in, I realized that a formal management education in a practical setting could elevate my business skills and help me step into the next level in my career.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
Teamwork and collaboration are the most important aspects of coursework and learning at Ivey. This is reflective of how the real world works, where being able to effectively collaborate with others is the key to success.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising aspect has been the amount of learning in different business areas that one could achieve in such a short amount of time if done well. The practical case based learning and team collaboration makes it easier to learn and excel in new areas/functions of business.
How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc)?
Usually running and exercising but I also enjoy spending time with my classmates to relax.
