Why did you decide to do an MBA?
After the breadth of my experience, I realised that working with clients and solving business problems is what I love, and an MBA would be important to train myself to become a consultant. I also wanted to build a solid network in Canada as I plan to live here.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
People are the most important thing you will take away from any experience, especially Ivey, so be nice and considerate. There is a 100% chance that at some point you will need help in the program, so remember to be as supportive and collaborative as you would want for yourself.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
It was harder than I estimated, but I did it! Case Based method has so many layers of understanding to it that you will not see it coming for the first few months.
How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc)?
Food, friends and family! Find any activity that comes naturally to you and stick to it. For me it's meeting people, cooking or watching a nice movie.
