Ivey Scholarships and Awards are available to our MBA students during the course of the program, from admission to convocation. These scholarships and awards are divided into three categories: Admissions, In Program, and Year End.
We encourage all eligible students to take advantage of these valuable scholarship and award opportunities to support their academic endeavors.
Admission scholarships are granted based on the communicated award value without a separate application. Successful applicants will be notified in their admission offer before the program starts.

Awarded to an MBA student at the Ivey Business School based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. Preference will be given to a student with an interest in pursuing a career in consulting.

Clouston Award recipient is encouraged to select an interviewee who would be of interest across multiple disciplines, including but not limited to business, the arts, science, etc. This selection process should be guided by the goal of enhancing the diversity of perspectives and knowledge represented within the Ivey Business School community. The chosen interviewee should bring a unique and valuable perspective to the conversation, contributing to the overall intellectual enrichment of the School.

The MBA Scholarship Review Committee with at least one member of the selection committee holding membership in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, will select the award recipient in consultation with the Executive Director of the Pierre L. The successful recipient will be selected by the MBA scholarship review committee. This student exhibited a fearless willingness to engage in spirited debate with classmates and professors, while making substantial contributions to class discussions. They enlivened and enhanced the learning atmosphere for their MBA Section. In addition, this student actively contributed to peer life through working in groups and other student activities. They demonstrated passion, leadership, empathy, inclusiveness and generosity. This award was established by Francis Tardif's immediate family, the Foundation Madeleine et Jean-Paul Tardif, and the MBA Class of 2017 in memory of Francis Tardif.

Awarded annually to a full-time student entering the MBA Program at the Ivey Business School. The award will be given to an equity-deserving student who self-identifies as an Indigenous* Learner and who demonstrates community leadership and academic achievement. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Ivey’s MBA Scholarship Committee will work in consultation with Western’s Office of Indigenous Initiatives to review and recommend Indigenous applicants. The MBA Awards Committee will make the final selection of the award recipients. At least one representative must hold membership in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Financial need will be determined by the information provided by the student in the scholarship section of their Program application.

Students who are awarded the Robert W. Johnson C.A. Gold Medal in the graduating year of the MBA Program must graduate with Distinction. A Gold Medal will be awarded to the graduating student wthi the highest cumulative GPA, as calculated exclusively from MBA Program courses. Ivey outgoing Exchange students are eligible for the award. Joint degree students (i.e.: MBA-LLB) are ineligible. In the event of a tie or ties, more than one medal may be awarded.

Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership to recognize Gerard for his 12 years of exemplary and dedicated leadership while serving as the Institute’s Executive Director. Gerard’s impact and many contributions to the research and development of leader character is a lasting legacy for the Institute and Ivey.

Awarded to an MBA student for whom the Ivey Business School has helped bring about tremendous personal transformation. This student has demonstrated to Ivey's faculty, staff and students, personal growth and benefit from their Ivey education, School life and associated activities; is admired by their peers and faculty; and is considered one of the class' most outstanding students (not necessarily defined as having achieved the highest academic standing). A committee composed of the first-year section heads of the MBA Program will be responsible for inviting nominations from fellow MBA students, staff and faculty, reviewing the nominations, and selecting the award winner. Nominations will be secured at least four weeks before convocation. A recipient will be announced at each MBA formal. Each award recipient will receive a personal trophy commemorating the award.
