Financing Your Ivey MBA Degree

We know that financing the MBA is about much more than just tuition; an MBA from Ivey Business School is an investment in yourself. Before getting started, it’s important to consider all of the associated costs, including tuition, cost of living, and other academic expenses you may incur throughout the year.

Instalment payment option - tuition due dates

You can pay your tuition in one payment at the beginning of the Program, or you can pay in 4 instalments.  Note there is no fee to pay in instalments.  Please see the due dates and calculations below to understand when tuition will be due over the course of the Program.

Your deposit and admission scholarship can be deducted from your first instalment payment.

Calculation:

Instalment #1 due March 7, 2025
(25% tuition + 100% fees - deposit - scholarship) 
*note if you have a large scholarship you MAY not need to pay anything for this instalment and MAY have a 'credit' that may be put toward instalment #2 payment)

Instalment # 2 due July 4
(25% tuition - any potential 'credit' balance you had for #1 with scholarship)

Instalment #3 due Oct 3
(25% tuition)

Instalment #4 Jan 9, 2026 
(25% tuition or balance outstanding)

Methods of Payment

You will pay tuition to your Western student account.  Methods of payment can be found on the Registrar's Office website.

*All costs are subject to change. The cost of the Preparatory Knowledge Program (PKP) is subsidized to ensure that as many incoming students as possible may participate. Pricing is on a per primer basis and includes HST.

Living Expenses

The below is an approximate breakdown of the fees associated with living in London, Ontario based on beginning our program in March 2025.  Rental fees in particular do vary depending on rental property selected, whether it is furnished and the number of occupants.

Note: The City of London Bus Pass is included in your tuition and fees

*If you will file a Canadian Income Tax Return, you can claim your MBA Tuition. A T2202A receipt is provided through an online service on Student Center, which allows you to view your T2202A - Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate(s) from Taxation year 2000 and onwards.
