Corey Crossan

Corey Crossan is the co-founder and executive director of Virtuosity Character, a mobile application designed to support the daily, deliberate practice of character-based leadership development. Having experienced the transformative power of character formation herself, Corey has dedicated her career to helping individuals and organizations cultivate character through intentional habits and well-designed developmental systems.

At Virtuosity, she leads the design, facilitation, and research of programs that bring a rigorous, evidence-based approach to leadership development. In addition to her work with Virtuosity, Corey serves as a Research and Teaching Fellow with The Oxford Character Project and as a Senior Fellow for Program Development with Wake Forest University’s Educating Character Initiative.

Corey also brings special expertise to the area of sport. A former NCAA Division I athlete, she focused her doctoral research on strengthening character within athletic contexts and now collaborates on multiple projects in collegiate and professional sport to enhance sustained excellence and well-being through character and leadership development.

As part of her work with Virtuosity, Corey has been endorsed by Tech Nation in the United Kingdom as a Global Talent in digital technology—joining a select community of founders and innovators recognized for advancing the UK’s world-leading tech ecosystem. She holds a BSc in Exercise Science and Sport Medicine, an MA in Kinesiology, and a PhD in Kinesiology.
