The International Business Institute was established in late 2016 and is based at the Ivey Business School at Western University in London, Ontario Canada. The goal of the IBI is to be a premier global forum for research, teaching, and outreach on international business. More specifically, it will:
- Prepare leaders who understand and can meet the unique challenges and opportunities of business management in a global context
- Advance Ivey's international business research ranking for thought leadership within the worldwide top 10 business schools
- Strengthen management education in the world's poorest countries
Ivey's International Business Institute combines both the previous Asian Management Institute and Engaging Emerging Markets Research Centre, and includes international business issues in developed markets.
