Business schools around the world have recognized the case method of teaching business as the most comprehensive and practical way to ensure future business leaders develop solid analytical and integrative skills. However, the global supply of high quality and locally relevant cases does not meet the current level of demand in many countries.
Ivey’s Joint Case Development and Teaching Program allows universities and business schools to partner with Ivey’s International Business Institute to improve their case writing skills while developing cases relevant to their local economy.
Through the program, Ivey faculty provide one-on-one case writer training to faculty from partner schools. Together the faculty co-authors a series of cases that profile business issues and covers the learning objectives selected by the partner schools. Once complete, the cases are registered with Ivey Publishing.
Ivey’s case catalog consists of numerous internationally related cases developed through such partnerships.
