Anita has held strategy, marketing, and communications roles with a range of public and private sector organizations, including media, banking and not-for-profit. She is currently at Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, where she leads business development and go-to-market strategies for the corporate training team.
Experience & Background
Anita spent her early career in media, where she led strategic planning for CBC and Astral Media, and spent several years developing multi-platform marketing campaigns for large advertiser brands. She then pivoted to supporting small business, with a focus on digital sales and marketing.
Anita is passionate about supporting under-represented groups, and to that end has co-founded a successful inclusive local economic development initiative, led a pilot project supporting newcomer entrepreneurs at Business Development Bank of Canada and mentored numerous immigrant entrepreneurs.
Anita holds a Masters of Business Administration from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science, Biology with option in Biotechnology, from University of Ottawa.
