Why Ivey?

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to pursue Science or Business and the dual degree provided the perfect opportunity for me to keep my options open. I knew by reputation and via family/friends that the school was fantastic. You have to experience it yourself.

What have you learned so far at Ivey?

People are the most important resource and no leader truly stands alone.

What has one highlight of your Ivey Experience been so far?

The Ivey Israel Trip. The experience was incredibly humbling and inspiring, and unique to anything I have ever done. I would recommend it to anyone.

What advice do you have for incoming HBA students?  

Know your niche, and get involved. This program has so much to offer both in and out of the classroom so, do your best to challenge yourself and pursue opportunities that resonate with you.

How has Ivey’s Career Management set you up for success?

The Career Management team at Ivey has been a consistent source of guidance. They truly care about the placement of Ivey students, and their dedication to our personal success is evident with every interaction.

What was it like coming into the Ivey classroom environment?

Coming from a background in Medical Science, the Ivey classroom was a big adjustment. Every day you are asked to engage, participate, and learn. Coming to Ivey, I knew the professors would be brilliant but what surprised me was how incredibly intelligent my peers were.
