Ivey Scholarships and Awards are available to our HBA students during the course of the program, from admission to convocation. The recipient selection is extremely competitive due to the high calibre of students admitted to the Ivey HBA Program.

The award finder tool below provides an overview and brief description of each award and category available to our students.  Please note while we try our best to maintain the accuracy of this website, the information is subject to change. The HBA Admission Award application is within the "Apply for Awards" section in the HBA application and AEO2 Intent to Register. There is not a separate application for these awards.

Merit ScholarshipsHarold Crookell Memorial ScholarshipAwarded to an international student entering HBA 1 based on academic achievement (minimum 80% average) and demonstrated community leadership. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This award was established in memory of Professor Harold Crookell, who believed in diversity and the development of global business leaders. $2900
Merit ScholarshipsHazelview HBA Award in Sustainability Awarded to full-time undergraduate students in HBA2 enrolled in the HBA Sustainability Certificate at the Ivey Business School based on academic achievement. The HBA Scholarship Committee will select the recipients. This award is made possible by Hazelview Investments - active investors, owners and managers of real estate investments since 1999. Hazelview is committed to fostering the sustainable growth of the communities in which they operate and supports learning and innovation in Environmental, Social, and Governance practices. 1@ $8,000$8000
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA 1956 Award OSOTFAwarded to a student entering HBA 1 or HBA 2 (their last or second-last year), based on academic achievement (minimum 78% average) and demonstrated financial need. Must be an Ontario resident. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This award was made possible by gifts from the HBA Class of 1956 through Foundation Western. $16000
Merit ScholarshipsHBA 1957 ScholarshipAwarded to a student entering HBA 1 or HBA 2 at the Ivey Business School based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This award was made possible by gifts from the HBA Class of 1957 through Foundation Western. 2 awards @ $3,200 continuing.$3200
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA 60 AwardAwarded to a student entering the Honors Business Administration Program based on a combination of financial need and proven ability. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. These endowed awards were established within Foundation Western by graduates of the Class of 1960 HBA.$2000
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '73 Award (OSOTF)Awarded to students entering HBA Year 1 based on academic achievement (minimum 78% admission average) and demonstrated financial need. These awards will continue in HBA Year 2 provided that the candidates maintain a 70% average and demonstrate financial need. Must be Ontario resident. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. Merit ScholarshipsHBA '74 ScholarshipsAwarded to full-time HBA students at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '77 Past Future Forward AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student, who is a Canadian citizen, entering the Honors Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement, leadership (community and other) and demonstrated financial need. The Office of the Registrar will determine financial need eligibility and the HBA Scholarship Committee will make the financail selection of the recipient. This award was made possible by gifts from the Class of HBA 1977.$5000
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '83 Award (OSOTF)Awarded to a student entering HBA Year 1, based on academic achievement (minimum 78% admission average) and demonstrated financial need. Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '86 AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student entering the Honors Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement, community leadership and demonstrated financial need. This award will continue in HBA year 2 provided that the candidate maintains a 70% average and demonstrates financial need. This award was established in recognition of the HBA Class of 1986 30th reunion. 1 awards @ $5,000 continuing$5000
Merit ScholarshipsHBA '87 ScholarshipAwarded to a full time HBA student based on academic achievement (minimum 80% average) and demonstrated community leadership. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from a publicly funded high school. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. 3 awards @ $7,500$7500
Merit ScholarshipsHBA '89 AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student entering the Honors of Bachelor of Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. The HBA Scholarship Committee at Ivey will make the final selection of the award recipient. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of the HBA Class of 1989.$11500
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '91 Student Leader AwardAwarded annually to a student entering Year 1 of the HBA Program based on academic achievement, financial need, and involvement in extracurricular activities. The Office of the Registrar will determine financial need and the HBA Scholarship Committee will select the recipient. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award.$5000
Merit ScholarshipsHBA '92 Karen Crich Memorial AwardAwarded to full-time undergraduate students entering HBA1 at the Ivey Business School based on academic achievement, and an interest in recreational athletics and/or entrepreneurial endeavours. The award will continue in HBA2 provided that recipients maintain full-time status in the HBA program and achieve a minimum 70% average. The Ivey HBA Scholarship Committee will select the recipients. If a recipient does not retain the award in HBA2, a replacement from the same cohort will be selected. This award was established by friends and family of Karen Crich. 1 @ $7,800 CT$7800
End Of Year AwardsHBA '94 McCleary Memorial AwardAwarded to a full-time student of outstanding quality in Honors Business Administration at the Ivey Business School, at the end of their first year of HBA. The President of the HBA Student's Council will initiate the selection process for this peer award in the Spring. Candidates will be nominated by their classmates based on the following criteria: they are sociable, friendly, positive, hard-working people who are a pleasure to be around. They approach life with enthusiasm and energy and strive to excel in a well-rounded range of activities within and outside the Business School. Based on the recommendations from the HBA Student's Council, the HBA Scholarship Committee will select the final recipient for this award.$5000
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '95 AwardAwarded annually to a full-time HBA 1 student at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement, community leadership and demonstrated financial need. The Office of the Registrar will determine financial need eligibility and the HBA Scholarship Committee will make the final selection of the recipient. The award will continue to HBA 2 provided the recipient successfully completes HBA 1 and continues to demonstrate financial need. If a recipient fails to retain the award, a replacement from the same year will be selected. This award was established with a generous gift from the HBA Class of ’95 in honour of their 25th reunion. 1 @ $5,000 continuing$5000
Financial Need and Merit AwardsHBA '98 Award - OSOTF II Awarded to a student entering HBA Year 1 based on academic achievement (minimum 78% admission average) and demonstrated financial need. This award will continue in HBA Year 2 provided that the candidate maintains a 70% average and demonstrates financial need. Recipients must meet Ontario residency requirements. The award section within the AEOI/HBA application considers candidates for all Ivey HBA Admission scholarships. There is not a separate award application for this scholarship. Applicants who do not complete the award section of their HBA application will not be considered for an Ivey HBA admission award. This award was made possible by gifts from the HBA Class of 1998. 1 @ $2,100 continuing$2100
Merit ScholarshipsHBA 2000 AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student entering the Honors Business Administration program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. Final selection of the recipient will be made by the HBA Scholarship Review Committee. This award was established with a generous gift from the HBA Class of 2000.$700
Merit ScholarshipsHBA Ivey IPO AwardAwarded annually to a full-time student who has completed Year 1 of the Honours Business Administration Program based on academic excellence and leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in University or community activities. The Ivey Financial Aid Office will electronically communicate the Ivey HBA in-program award applications throughout the fall-winter timeframe. There is not an individual award application for this scholarship. This award is made possible by the generosity of the HBA Ivey IPO through Foundation Western.$2200
