Christian is an Associate Professor of Economics at Ivey Business School since 2021, having previously spent ten years at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. He is a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Campbell Fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation in the U.S., and by Canada’s SSHRC, and has been published in Econometrica and the American Economic Review, among other outlets, and he has consulted for the World Bank, the Interamerican Development Bank, and the Chicago Fed.
Christian is an expert on innovation, non-market strategy, and global macro, and his teaching focuses on strategy in the face of major technological, geo-political and macro-economic shifts.
Christian also founded/co-founded two companies in the AI/tech/GR space, Queen Street Analytics and LobbyIQ, and he is a partner at Orange Green Consulting.
