Kristine Beese

Kristine describes herself as a feminist, and she has spent a lot of time understanding the systemic issues that hold women back at scale. She sees many parallels between the issues that women face, and the issues that other groups come up against. She is excited to engage with the community, learn best-practices from thought leaders, and help the alumni in Ivey’s network digest and apply these learnings through engaging content and events.

Kristine believes that a key pillar of gender diversity lies in the realm of money and the power it holds. As the CEO of fintech startup Untangle Money, she aims to revolutionize the conversation around women and wealth, by removing the stigma that women shouldn't talk about money, and helping women to understand what they can afford, and what their financial future could look like depending on the choices they make. Kristine has international experience working in the engineering, capital markets and wealth management industries both in Canada and the UK.
