Jake Girling

Jake is passionate about LGBTQ+ advocacy and has been involved in leadership positions with many organizations such as OUT Investors – an LGBTQ+ group for direct investing professionals, the Ivey Pride Student Network and the Western EngiQueers. Jake is excited about standing up the Pride pillar within the Ivey Alumni Network and is keen make a positive impact on our community. As the Pride Lead of IAN’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, Jake’s mandate will be to empower, connect and celebrate our LGBTQ+ alumni and continue to ensure Ivey is able to support them both professionally and personally.

Jake works as an Associate at Whitehorse Liquidity Partners and is focused on fundraising, investor relations and syndication. Prior to joining Whitehorse, Jake worked in investment banking at National Bank of Canada in their diversified industries coverage group. Jake holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Chemical Engineering from Western University. In Jake’s free time you can find him at the yoga studio, trying his best to navigate a wine list, and planning his next trip abroad.
