The Ivey Alumni Network (IAN) is committed to supporting equity, diversity and inclusion among students and graduates. As we celebrate Homecoming, the IAN encourages you to explore which traditional lands you are situated on, and consider your relationship to them and their history. A great starting point is https://native-land.ca/
The IAN acknowledges that the Ivey Business School at Western University is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Attawandaron peoples, on lands connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum. This land continues to be home to diverse Indigenous peoples (e.g. First Nations, Métis and Inuit) whom we recognize as contemporary stewards of the land and vital contributors of our society.
The highlight of Homecoming Weekend — to attend a personalized evening with your classmates and guests! Celebrations are planned for either Friday or Saturday evening. Visit your class webpage to find your class plans.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
Doors open at 9 a.m. — register in the Rosen Lounge and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast while catching up with classmates and touring the Richard Ivey Building. 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Ivey Pledge Ceremony! Over 15,000 alumni have participated in this tradition since its introduction by the Ivey Alumni Network in 2004. This event provides Ivey alumni with the opportunity to recite — or recommit to — the Ivey Pledge to act honourably and ethically, and receive a unique, individually numbered Ivey Ring. Registration is now closed.
Come cheer on fellow reunion alumni as they compete head-to-head in an Ivey trivia competition. The winning team will then go head-to-head with the faculty all-star team. Sure to deliver laughs and you may just learn a thing or two about Ivey! It's a highlight of the weekend that's not to be missed.
Join faculty, friends, and classmates as Ivey’s new Dean Julian Birkinshaw, MBA ’91, PhD ’95, welcomes you back to Ivey at his first official alumni event! He will share a few remarks and present this year’s Distinguished Service and Faculty Service award recipients in the BMO Financial Group Auditorium.
Following the Dean's Welcome, grab lunch in Chrominska Hall and enjoy it in one of our classrooms assigned for your class!
Join us for an inspiring Lifelong Learning event centered on building resilience, facilitated by Ivey faculty member Kanina Blanchard and Ivey leadership coaches. This interactive session offers two distinct streams: personal resilience and team resilience. Begin with a dynamic large group discussion before diving into your chosen stream. After the breakout sessions, we'll reconvene to share insights and strategies with your peers. Whether you're focused on strengthening your own resilience or enhancing your team's, this event promises valuable takeaways for all participants. Don't miss this opportunity to reconnect and grow together! Registration is now closed.
Don't miss the football game at Western Alumni Stadium! The Mustangs will take on the Queen's Gaels. Tickets are now sold out.
For classes celebrating 50+ years, join the Dean for breakfast to honour this remarkable milestone in Ivey’s Brock Pavilion. Watch your mail for a separate invitation and reply card, or register online today. Registration is now closed.
