In this episode:

Our expert panel shared insights from their research and experiences, demonstrating how purpose drives resilience and leadership in extreme adversity, and reflecting on key lessons for leaders across public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

As Ukrainians endure nearly 1,000 days of conflict, we explored how they maintain focus and motivation despite unimaginable hardships, and how leadership at all levels has inspired a nation to stand strong.

For this episode, Gerard Seijts, Professor of Organizational Behaviour, Ivey Business School was joined by Kovaliv Yuliya, Ukraine's Ambassador to Canada, Andy Hunder, President at American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Sofiya Opatska, Vice Rector for Strategic Development at the Ukrainian Catholic University and Andriy Rozhdestvensky, Professor of Leadership and Executive Director of the Ukrainian Catholic University Centre for Leadership.  Together they explored defining moments that have reshaped perspectives on life and leadership as well as the role of universities and educational institutions in fostering leaders equipped to rebuild and regenerate Ukraine both during and after the war. The discussion provides a deep and meaningful exploration of how purpose can sustain individuals and communities through the most challenging circumstances.
