Fraser Johnson is a Professor of Operations Management at the Ivey Business School where he teaches courses in supply chain management and operations. Fraser is also the Director of the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index, one of the most widely watched and utilized indicators of future economic activity in Canada. Prior to joining Ivey, Fraser worked in the automotive parts industry where he held a number of senior management positions in both finance and operations.
Fraser is an active researcher in the area of supply chain management and he has authored articles that have been published in a wide variety of magazines and journals. His textbook, Purchasing and Supply Management (with Anna Flynn), published by McGraw-Hill Irwin, is now in its fifteenth edition. He is currently an associate editor for The Journal of Supply Chain Management.
Fraser has consulted for organizations in the private and public sectors, and has taught in a number of different management development programs in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
