Sharon Pitawanakwat is an Executive Coach and Facilitator of Transformation, dedicated to partnering with leaders who are committed to fostering happy, engaged, and inspired workplaces. Over the past 30 years, Sharon has held progressively senior roles within the not-for-profit sector, focusing on Indigenous, community mental health, and addictions organizations. She has been instrumental in transforming cultures of negativity into environments filled with positivity, creativity, and innovation.
As an Indigenous woman and member of the Wikwemikong First Nation, Sharon brings a unique, holistic, and balanced perspective to leadership challenges. She encourages her clients to draw on their deep wisdom to navigate the complexities of today’s world. Her coaching philosophy centers on the belief that the answers lie within us, and by tapping into this inner knowledge, leaders can build resilience, strength, and confidence.
Sharon’s credentials are extensive: she is a Registered Nurse (1991), a graduate of various coaching programs including the Royal Roads Certificate in Executive Coaching (2015), Group and Team Coaching (2017), and Professional Mentor Coaching (2022). She is also a certified Empowerment Dynamic and 3VQ Coach, Practitioner, and Trainer, as well as a coach and train-the-trainer in the Coaching out of the Box methodology. In 2023, she completed the Ivey Lift Advanced Coaching program. Beyond her professional achievements, Sharon is a dedicated practitioner, teacher, and student of Kundalini Yoga, with certifications in Hatha, Somatic, and Therapeutic Yoga.
