Nav Rahemtulla

Nav is a Founding Partner of LightBay Capital (“LightBay”). LightBay is a Los Angeles based private equity fund that applies a flexible capital approach to investing.

Previously, Nav was an original member of the Ares Management Private Equity Group where he worked for 15 years and served as its Head of Healthcare Investing. While at Ares, Nav led investments across several transaction types. He served on the boards of various companies including AmeriQual Group, Aspen Dental, CHG Healthcare Services, Douglas Dynamics, National Veterinary Services, OB Hospitalist Group, Serta Inc., Simmons Bedding Company, and Unified Physician Management. Prior to joining Ares, Nav was a Director of Corporate Finance at DMC Venture Capital and a member of the Investment Banking Division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp.

Nav graduated with Honours from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business, where he earned a H.B.A. in Business Administration.
